At Climate Logic, our mission has always been to drive sustainability and empower businesses to reduce their environmental impact. Today, we are excited to announce that we have taken a significant step forward by joining the United Nations Global Compact—the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.
What is the UN Global Compact?
The UN Global Compact is a call to companies worldwide to align their operations and strategies with Ten universally accepted Principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption. By participating, we join over 20,000 businesses across 160+ countries in a shared commitment to building a more sustainable and responsible global economy.
The Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact are:
- Support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights
- Make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses
- Uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining
- Uphold the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labor
- Contribute to the effective abolition of child labor
- Eliminate discrimination in respect of employment and occupation
- Support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges
- Undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility
- Encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies
- Work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery
By integrating these principles into our business strategy, we strengthen our long-term commitment to environmental responsibility and ethical business practices.
